Everystory Presents:
Be The Peace
Stronger hearts. Safer communities.

Be The Peace is Everystory’s transformative program designed to nurture empathy, confidence, and nonviolent communication among youth and the adults who support them. Using storytelling, Playback Theatre, and research-backed social-emotional learning strategies, this program empowers participants to share their voices, witness each other’s experiences, and build healthier relationships.

What to Expect

Each version of Be The Peace includes a series of skill-building workshops led by trained facilitators and ensemble members. Participants reflect on personal experiences and build skills in six core attitudes: gratitude, non-judgement, curiosity, patience, trust and humor. This work grows capacity for resilience, emotional regulation, and compassionate communication. The program culminates in a live performance where students perform audience members’ stories alongside the Everystory ensemble, honoring their voices and creating moments of insight, joy, and transformation.
