Milestones that Matter

2008

Playback Memphis is founded; Memphis Matters performance series begins at TheatreSouth.

2011

Be the Peace! anti-bullying program launches in schools.

2012

The ensemble performs at the North American Playback Theatre Festival.

2015

Performing the Peace begins, bridging police and justice-impacted individuals.

2020

Practicing with Playback launches, and ensemble-led workshops for well-being during COVID‑19.

2023

Receives Nonprofit Organization of the Year at the Mid‑South Nonprofit Conference’s Catalyst Awards

2025

Playback Memphis becomes Everystory and receives the Community Solutions Grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis.
